THEATRE ACTION GROUP (TAG)
An Interactive Dialogue on Race and Privilege in Baltimore’s Arts Community

They say you can tell the progress of a city by its Arts community. How would you describe Baltimore’s Arts Community? Separate but equal? Polarized or magnetic? Robust or depleted? Join us (TAG) as we create an intentional environment to share our strengths, struggles and our truths as they pertain to the future of the Arts in Baltimore. Help us create a template for sharing resources and building community that reflects the myriad of diverse cultures and customs that already exist in Baltimore’s landscape. Using storytelling, Pedagogy & Theatre of the Oppressed, music, dance, poetry, comedy and song, TAG will reflect, examine and discover a multitude of ways to address this complicated topic. We are passionate about the Arts. We are passionate about Baltimore. We are passionate about the future of Arts in Baltimore and we invite you to be a part of this long over-due conversation. This event is not just for artists, it’s for everyone.
