B&O RAILROAD MUSEUM
The War Came by Train
Discover the role the railroads played in the Civil War during the two free admission days offered by the B&O Railroad Museum. Costumed living historians will provide information to visitors on various aspects of railroading, travel, and military life during the Civil War period. Guided tours of the exhibit in the Roundhouse will also be available.

BALTIMORE BALLET
Discover Ballet
This lecture/demonstration will introduce ballet basics and performances of several famous ballet pieces. A Q&A session will be followed by an invitation for audience members to learn some basic dance steps. Pay attention, there’s a Ballet Quiz at the end of the presentation!

BALTIMORE DANCE CREWS PROJECT
Hip-Hop Dance Classes
Learn basic to intermediate level hip-hop choreography and dance fundamentals. No previous dance experience required. The one-hour class includes a cardio warm-up, stretching, and dance fundamentals.

BALTIMORE HOOP LOVE
Circus Farm Tour & Hoop Making Workshop
Take a walking tour of Circus Farm, a local urban farm run on a less-than-an-acre plot by Baltimore Hoop Love founders, Andreas “Spilly” Spilladis and Jes Raschella. The tour will include plant identification picking and tastings, as well as a lecture. Circus Farm is a project where audience participation in circus arts becomes a forum for conversations about healthy food choices and urban farming. The tour will end with a hula hoop construction activitiy and a vegetarian meal prepared from ingredients harvested on the farm. Each participant will take home their hoop.

BALTIMORE JAZZ ALLIANCE
Jazz for Kids
A fun introduction to jazz for elementary school children featuring jazz versions of well-known children’s songs played by BJA’s five piece band and encouraging audience participation. Children will have the opportunity to try several musical instruments.
